How to request deletion

Email pivotlever@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Pesa Prompt account”. Include the phone number and business name on the account so we can find it. We may reply to confirm the request came from you.

We delete the account within 30 days of confirming the request, and email you when it is done.

What we delete

• Your name, business name, till number and phone number
• Your passcode (stored only as a hash) and all signed-in sessions
• The list of customer phone numbers saved to your account

What we keep

Records of completed payments (amount, customer phone number, M-PESA receipt number and time) are kept for seven years, because Kenyan tax and accounting rules expect business transaction records to be retained. They are not used for anything else and are deleted after that period.
